Lower Court Update

We’re here to share some updates on our journey to renovate the lower courts into the dedicated pickleball courts at Battlepoint Park.

First, let’s rewind a bit… we hit a bit of a pause while waiting for the grand unveiling of the new Sakai tennis courts, which, along with weather, pushed our project start date until this Spring.

And just when we thought we were ready to roll, our first bid for the renovation turned out to be a bad fit, so we’re diving back into the rebidding pool! This rebid adventure should wrap up in about month. Fingers crossed, if Mother Nature plays nice and the stars align, we’re still gunning to kick off construction this later this Spring/early Summer.

To make this dream a reality, we’ll need some awesome volunteers to jump on board. Your enthusiasm and support will be the secret sauce to making these much-awaited upgrades happen. Stay tuned for more information about these opportunities.
