The deadline is March 24th.

The commitment is one 2+ hour meeting/month, as well as 2+ hours/week outside of monthly meetings, depending on which responsibilities you commit to. Each board member serves 2 year terms.

Examples of what we are looking for:

• Fundraisers

• Programming/Outreach Coordinators

• Members with Public Relations Skills

• Consensus Builders

• Diverse Voices

Here are the types of activities a potential board member can expect:

-Fundraising

-New programming, such as a youth league.

-Events, such as community celebrations (like the 4th of July Parade) or tournaments.

-Court Maintenance - Beverage stock, shed maintenance, landscaping, pressure washing, etc.

-Liaising with Parks and Recreation Staff.

-Managing BIP merchandise sales.

*Suggested nominees do not need to be Bainbridge Island pickleball players. They could be a business owner, a historian, a player from another city - anyone who is passionate about our mission.

*Once all suggested nominees have been submitted, the committee will select the final nominees.
