Court Updates From Clay
Renovation of the Lower Courts –
Lots of people have been asking about the status of the renovation of the lower courts. Well, the good news is the new tennis courts at Sakai Park are playable, which was a condition that had to be met before we could begin our renovation. We have met several times with David Harry from Parks to develop bidding specs for our project and they are ready to be sent out. The bad news is the cold, wet weather has set in, and we will have to wait until Spring to begin the work. We have been promised that the bids will go out and the project will begin as soon as the weather permits.

Pickleball Kingdom Courts in Poulsbo –
At our members’ meeting last January, we voted unanimously to pursue an indoor pickleball option with the City of Poulsbo. We took the lead and enlisted the support of other pickleball clubs in the area and gained the support of Mayor Becky Erickson and the Poulsbo City Council. Then, to our surprise and delight, a private company, Pickleball Kingdom, stepped up and offered to develop the old Office Max and Big Five Sporting Goods store into a twelve-court indoor complex. John and Mara Hylton, a brother-sister team with Northwest roots, are the new owners. Permits have been approved and construction is underway.

Select "Become a Member": Click on the "Become a Member" option to view membership plans.
Choose Your Membership Level: Select the membership that best suits you.
Complete the Registration: Fill out the registration form and complete the payment process. All annual memberships will be charged at the time of purchase but will not begin until we open
