Covered Courts at Strawberry Hill Park … We Need Your Help!
This past fall, Melissa Bang-Knudsen and Jonathan Thwaites presented a proposal for a covered pickleball facility at Strawberry Hill Park to the Bainbridge Island Parks Board. The Parks Board responded with enthusiasm, and granted permission for further collaboration with Parks Staff to advance the proposal.
Our next step involves defining the broader vision and purpose of this facility, and we need the support and voice of the Bainbridge Island Pickleball community. We are organizing two informational meetings to share and discuss our ideas about what this facility could offer to our local pickleball community, as well as to the entire Bainbridge Island and surrounding communities. This is your opportunity to voice your thoughts as we brainstorm possibilities together.
